Munchie Monday – Britt’s Donuts – Titan Realty Lake Norman

If you’ve been to Carolina Beach, NC, you have most likely been to (or heard of) Britt’s Donut Shop.

A few things to know before going to Britt’s:

It is a mandatory stop for most beachgoers. Locals and donut-lovers immediately know it by the sweet aroma that fills the air at the Carolina Beach boardwalk. It is such a good feeling to go to the boardwalk after dinner and a long day at the beach.

2. The next thing that people know about Britt’s is the line… When donuts are this good, you can expect a long line. Dads beware, you’ll probably find yourself waiting in line while the kids run around the fairgrounds.

Not to worry though, because the line moves quickly and it’s definitely worth the wait. As soon as you bite into that sweet (always hot ‘n ready) donut, it will melt in your mouth.

3. They are family owned, so you can’t help but love them. You will quickly realize that this shop has been managed in the same family for multiple generations. If you can catch them on a slower day, you’ll be able to talk to some of the employees. There’s nothing better than a bunch of beach people.

4. BRING CASH. It would stink to get all the way there and only have your debit card…

After you get hooked on this tasty treat, you are guaranteed to talk about it for the rest of the summer. With so much to do in the Carolina Beach area, Britt’s will definitely have you returning for the food, the fun and of course, the donuts.
